 Since he'd gotten back from seeing Charlotte, Wylie felt much better about himself and about his current situation. He wasn't afraid of what he was leaving behind or what he was facing. He knew that without a doubt he was making the most solid and true decision of his entire life and he had every intention of seeing it through. He knew about Damon's reluctance to give in completely to what he wanted. Wylie was more than aware of how Damon too wanted to see him live forever, but he saw how when he'd brought it up, Damon almost wanted him to think about it. As if there was a choice for Wylie. He couldn't think of anything else.

Currently sitting on the couch in Damon's place - though it was his too now that he essentially had moved in without exactly saying so - he was fiddling with his guitar. He'd been thinking about how he needed to bring it up, talking about the situation and when they would, but he couldn't quite bring himself to ask. So instead, he was caught in this in between place where he wanted to ask, but was nervous to bring it up. He wasn't sure how the conversation would go.

Damon moved with him, eyes still closed, but opened them halfway as he settled to his lap...his gaze soft, expectant. He welcomed the arms around him with a sigh, his own lifting to span his back, grip gentle to his clothes as he turned his face to Wylie's neck, breathing him in...

Wylie smiled to himself, pressing his cheek against the side of Damon's head. Wylie had done some comforting for others, but it felt so different holding his lover now. Knowing that so often this man curled up against him and essentially clinging to him was so much stronger than him. He would do anything for him. Wylie would do anything for Damon.
