He forgets a lot of what happened. He tries to at least. It didn't feel real and she was not herself right after that. He wonders if she's further nurtured that gift, sometimes, but that's about as far as it goes. He knows it has to do with her mother, somehow, but he's not exactly on Jelani's parents list of people they care to talk about.
