 Wylie needed a break. He doesn't know what's gotten into him, but he's been writing and recording music simply because he can lately and it seems to be working out alright for him. He feels like at least there's something vaguely interesting coming from it, even if it's not the greatest shit he's ever written. 

Either way, the recording studio they have built into the house is boxed in and he gets bored, so he takes Van outside to run him around a bit. At the moment, he's chucking a stick as far as he can, letting Van sprint after it and bring it back to him.
