She smiled, kind of seeing that flicker of may be surprise? Something that let her know he wasn't expecting what she just asked of him. That made her happy. She liked Wylie, and truth be told. The last time they were together was insane. It was like neither of them knew what was happening, how to handle it, or how to talk to one another. Jessica was still getting used to all of this, with people, with affection, and especially with her vampiric nature.
So, she was beyond chuffed that Wylie even showed back up. That he wanted to talk to her, to apologize. She knew, somewhere deep down, that it was a good thing and meant that there was hope between them. Whether it be friends, lovers, or more.
He just stared at her, and she couldn't help the tender smile that graced her lips for him. When he shrugged, and climbed off his bike. Jessica had no choice in the matter, he was too freaking adorable for words right then. Leaning in, she gave the side of his lips a quick, tender kiss.
Then she pulled back, with her hands still behind her back and waited for him to walk with her into the house. Past all the guards, who patted him down."Uh, sorry fer tha'! I kinda forgot tha' we had them now," waiting for them to be over with their pat down. She held the door open for him. Letting him into the now opulent Compton Manor. It was all shiny, with chandeliers, and to her it still held lots of the charm it had before he became King.
"The kitchen is this way, then we can go ta my room? Only if ya wanna though? Or we can sit in the livin' room, ya let me know? Um, are ya hungry? I think we got food. I mean, Bill has lots of humans workin' for him, so we got beer, and cold cuts, bread, and some such. If yer hungry, I can make ya somethin' ta eat!" She was doing everything in her power to be nice, and to take care of him. She wanted to show him just how sorry she was for that day.
