Locked to Jelani

Wylie was really good at bailing out when something important was going on. Or maybe it wasn't so much that something important was happening, but something important might happen. Or maybe it was just because he was a fucking moron. Yeah, that sounded about right. 

Somewhere in the time of he and Je going on some whim of a trip, he realized that whatever was going on with them stopped being about a place to crash for a while and started being about how he felt about her and maybe it was all once sided... actually, he was pretty sure it was. Sure, they slept with each other, and she was an active participant, but that didn't make it any better. It just meant she liked sleeping with him. And Wylie, though not one to get emotional or attached, was fucking attached and he knew it. So, the solution? Bail. 

It was a emotional defense. Don't stick around to get hurt, just leave. However, while trying to escape from whatever he was feeling, no matter how far away he thought he got from her, that didn't stop the feelings he was having over this and that only made him more frustrated. He hated that weakness in him, but the worst part was that he was going to act on it. Before he even knew what he was doing, he was back at her place, hoping to God she wasn't there--which she wasn't--but even though that gave him the opportunity to leave, he didn't. Instead he sat there in front of her door, back to it and staring at the ground. 

Because he's a fucking moron.
