The apologetic smile was ignored. There was nothing to apologize for. He laughed when he heard what his daughter had been trying to do and he shook his head. "She's sounds like she's smart, too," he added, taking another sip of his coffee. He had no problem discussing Johnny's life. It didn't make him uncomfortable. It didn't really even make him feel like he was missing out on some big story. It just meant that there was more to him than mind blowing sex. He was relieved to hear that.
